CERT III & IV

Mount Pleasant College offers a nationally recognised CUA31020 Certificate III in Screen and Media qualification & CUA40720 Certificate IV in Design qualification, both with a strong focus on game design and animation.

 

Our Game Design & Animation courses will help you unleash the creative potential of software packages used in these industries. You will learn basic animation and game design skills; how to bring characters to life; how assets and materials for computer games are developed; plus develop core graphic design skills used in the industry. This course is focused on creating a range of animation and game design material at an introductory level. You will learn the principles of object based programming while creating a video game of your own design using industry standard software. In order to support the production of your video game you’ll also learn the fundamentals of animation, graphic design and 3D modelling. 

 

At successful completion of the course you will have gained strong foundation skills and experience in the interactive industry with a focus on game design and animation. You will be well equipped for advanced training in the game design and animation industries and to begin working on interactive projects as you establish a creative career.
