The CUA41215 Certificate IV in Screen and Media course at Mount Pleasant College has been designed to enable emerging film makers to gain training in their craft as well as invaluable film making experience under the direction of talented and qualified trainers.
In this course you will…
- analyse films and scripts, learning techniques and tricks from the greats
- broaden your understanding of lighting, audio, film and editing theory
- put theory to the test completing various filming exercises
- produce several short films and commercial videos for your career portfolio
Whatever part of the film industry you are interested in you will build a strong foundation at Mount Pleasant College where you can gain experience in the creative conception, writing, production, direction and post-production of film projects. You will work with a group of like-minded creative people in an environment that inspires imagination and collaboration.
Completing this course is a serious start to a creative career as you will produce high quality work for your portfolio. You will also be equipped to begin working in the film making industry and continue further technical education at Diploma or University level.
MPC offers the CUA41215 Certificate IV in Screen and Media through a partnership agreement with Acts2CoME (RTO 51452). Students completing the course will receive qualification documents issued by Acts2CoME College.
