You will begin this journey with a solid foundation in music theory, song writing fundamentals, arranging, piano skills, music production, and performance technique.

You will write original music to perform in public
Before you get to the performance you will …

  • strengthen your song in song writing class
  • create a chord chart arrangement
  • teach the song to your band
  • record your song in Red Wall Studio using industry-leading digital audio workstations
  • rehearse the show as well as promote it
  • and finally walk out on stage to perform your ‘masterpiece’

At course completion you will have gained a foundational understanding of song writing, arranging and performance. You will also be perfectly equipped to take your learning to the next level in the CUA30915 Certificate III in Music Industry.
