Position: Mount Pleasant College Academic Administrator (part-time)

 

Mount Pleasant College (Mount Pleasant Baptist Community College Inc.) is the only Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in WA specialising in the Creative Arts and Industry Cert III and IV qualifications. As a vibrant community of creatives we share our passion for Media, Graphic Design, Film-making, Game Design/Animation, Music and Sound Production with learners. By focusing on a small number of learners in classes and creating a flexible and supportive environment, we ensure quality education where learners are valued and set up for success.

 

We are currently seeking applications for a permanent part-time Academic Administrator to join our team at an exciting time of growth for the College. In line with the overall strategy of the College, the successful applicant will oversee all academic administration of the College, assist with compliance activities, assist the Head of College with various admin tasks & ensure the delivery of quality administration services to key College stakeholders, including students, parents, and partner schools.

 

The following are key requirements for the role:

  • An ability to complete tasks with accuracy and reliability under minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication, administration and interpersonal skills
  • Previous administration experience in the VET training and education sector and an understanding of the Standards for RTOs (2015) is welcome
  • High level of proficiency with computer software applications relevant to education including Microsoft 365 and database software
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Working With Children check
  • Police clearance
  • A good fit within our College culture & faith-based values
  • Available for training and hand-over throughout March 2024
